WACO, Texas - Tim Hartshorn belted consecutive home runs and sparked the Baylor baseball team to a 14-0 shutout of Kansas State in seven innings Friday night at Baylor Ballpark.
With the win, the 14th-ranked Bears improve to 22-9 on the season, 10-3 in Big 12 play. The Wildcats fall to 11-15 and 3-10.
Hartshorn got things going early with a leadoff home run to right field in the first inning. In the third, he smacked another ball over the fence to put the Bears up, 2-0.
