WACO, Texas - Milton K. Isenberg, 68, who played both baseball and basketball for Baylor during the early 50s, died Nov. 11 in Bryan, Texas. A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, where he gained all-state honors in basketball, Isenberg had lived in Somerville, Texas in recent years.

After playing both basketball and baseball as a Baylor freshman in 1951, he decided to concentrate on baseball and in 1952 was the seventh-leading hitter in the Southwest Conference while playing first base and pitching. As a pitcher, he was undefeated in conference play and was selected to the All-SWC team.

Known affectionately to his Baylor friends as "Goose" or "Mitch," Isenberg left Baylor after his sophomore year to join the U. S. Army. He later returned to Baylor, received a degree in 1958 and taught school in Corpus Christi, Texas City and Baytown.
