Toni Ormond joined the Baylor women's tennis staff as an assistant coach for the 2017-18 season.
Ormond played collegiate tennis at Ball State from 2014-17, and graduated with a degree in foreign language in the spring of 2017. She helped the Cardinals to back-to-back Mid-American Conference regular season championships in 2016 and 2017, a MAC Tournament championship in 2016, and the program's first-ever NCAA Championship bid in 2016.
Ormond compiled a 73-47 singles record and a 53-63 doubles mark in her collegiate career. She secured 21-win seasons as a junior and senior. The Hamilton, Canada, native was named to the Academic All-MAC Conference Team three times, while also securing three ITA Academic All-American awards.
Her older sister, Taylor, played tennis at Baylor from 2008-11.
