Emily Newton is in her first season as the assistant coach for the Baylor women's tennis team. She assists head coach Joey Scrivano and associate head coach Alison Ojeda with all day-to-day tennis operations.
Newton spent the past three seasons playing at South Alabama, after playing one year at Auburn. During her career, Newton racked up 64 career singles wins and 70 doubles wins.
She graduated in May of 2015 from South Alabama with a degree in public relations. Newton is from Dothan, Ala., and attended Northview High School.
