Jordin Westbrook returned to the Lady Bears program as the associate director of operations in July of 2019 after four years as a manager from 2009-2013.
Westbrook achieved two degrees from Baylor, earning her bachelor’s in fine arts in December of 2013 and a master’s of education in December of 2015. After leaving the basketball program in 2013, she worked at Waco Methodist Home where she coached basketball and track before serving as a graduate assistant for SMG at Baylor’s McLane Stadium beginning in 2014. She was hired full-time at SMG in 2016 and stayed until her reunion with the Lady Bears.
At SMG, she oversaw the daily function of McLane Stadium as it related to Baylor athletic events, outside special events, safety and security and its tenants. In addition, Westbrook began her own business, JW Events, Inc., where she coordinates, plans and designs special events and weddings in the Central Texas and Indianapolis areas. She is also very heavily involved in the Waco community serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Waco, a member of the Junior League of Waco, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Bowen Family Foundation.
Westbrook will work with Jennifer Roberts and Johnny Derrick to support administrative duties in basketball and business operations.
She hails from Zionsville, Indiana where she played high school basketball at Zionsville High School and graduated in 2009.
