Earned the starting running back job in the preseason and played in the first two games of the year before suffering a season-ending injury at No. 21 BYU in week two … Will take a redshirt … Rushed 18 times for 67 yards, also catching five balls for 27 yards … Had 12 rushes for 45 yards and four catches for 20 yards in the season-opening win over UAlbany … Went for six rushes for 22 yards and one catch for seven yards before the injury at BYU.
