Baylor baseball will host Dogtopia Bark in the Park at Baylor Ballpark event, Wednesday, April 11, when the Bears face Louisiana-Monroe at 4 p.m.
Fans that would like to bring their dogs to the game will need to purchase one general admission ticket for themselves and will be required to sit in the right field berm area. Dogs will be admitted at no charge.
All owners will be required to provide paper shot records in order to preregister and if not pre-registered shot records will be required before admittance to the game.
Dogtopia will be preregistering dogs at their location at 5301 Bosque Blvd. Suite #300 by checking shot records starting Friday March 16th. There will be a limited amount of free tickets to the event given out at Dogtopia for preregistration. There will be a water station provided in the berm area, as well as a portable tent to provide shade. Fans are required to pick up dog waste, and one adult is required for each dog. All dogs must have tags and remain on a leash at all times. All dogs will be checked for tags by Dogtopia volunteers before entering Baylor Ballpark.
There will also be Sic'em Bears K-9 Spirit Contest at the Dogtopia Tent. The dog that demonstrates the most Baylor spirit will win a 30 pound bag of Nutrisource Grain Free Seafood Select dog food and a toy basket. So stop by the Dogtopia tent and let your pup be creative with how they show their spirit! Winner announced at the 7th Inning Stretch.

- Fans that would like to bring their dogs will receive a general admission ticket and will be in the right field grass berm. All fans with dogs must stay in this area.
- All fans must purchase their ticket and go in on the first base side gate.
- Fans with dogs designated to right field grass berm only.
- Dogs are not allowed into the rest of the stadium.
- Fans are required to pick up after their dog.
- Water station will be provided at the ball park.
- Portable tent will be set up in right field area to provide shade.
- One adult dog per person
- Dogs must have tags
- Dogs must remain on leash at all times
- The following dog breeds are prohibited from the event:
- Pit Bulls
- Rottweilers
- German Shepherds
- Doberman Pinschers
- Any hybrids that are mixed with the breeds mentioned above
- Non-domesticated animals
- Pets with a history of aggressive behavior
- All dogs will be checked for tags by volunteers before entering Baylor Ballpark
