Agbim, Bodo Bodo, White Named to NABC Honors Court
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches with a 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, the organization announced Wednesday. Additionally, three Bears players, Obi Agbim, Juslin Bodo Bodo and JJ White, were named to the NABC Honors Court.
The Team Academic Excellence Award honors programs that finished the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student players who posted a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better over the same period.
More than 400 programs earned Team Academic Excellence Awards this year, and over 2,300 players were named to the Honors Court nationwide.
"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson said. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."
Baylor head coach Scott Drew currently serves on the NABC Board of Directors, the organization's top leadership body, which provides strategic oversight of the association's daily operations and advocacy work. Drew was added to the board in September 2025.
