Bears place 12 on academic teams, 31 on honor roll

WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian collected 43 selections on the 2026 National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) All-Academic teams and Academic Honor Roll, as announced Wednesday by the organization.

Five Bears were named to the NCEA All-Academic First Team, while seven earned a spot on the Second Team. Additionally, 31 Bears were placed on the NCEA Academic Honor Roll.

First-team members needed to have competed in a minimum of 70 percent of their school's meets and earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.

Second-team members must have competed in a minimum of 60 percent of their school's meets and earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.

The top academic student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters were eligible for the honor roll.
