DAY 2 RESULTS
AUSTIN, Texas – Recording personal bests in four of the seven events, Baylor sophomore Logan Todorovich finished fourth in the heptathlon at the Texas Relays on Thursday with the third-highest score in program history with 5,487 points.
In seventh through the first four events on Wednesday, Todorovich had top-five finishes in the long jump (18-7 ¾) and javelin (126-4) and capped it off in the 800 meters (2:24.80) to move up three spots and finish just 27 points behind bronze medalist Julia Gunnell (5,514) of Kentucky.
Flynn's point total was the third-highest score in program history and less than 100 points off the school record set by Jenna Pfeiffer (5,584) at the 2017 Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
Freshman Kingston Williams, in third place after the first five events of the decathlon, had top-five finishes in the 110-mter hurdles (14.94) and 1,500 meters (4:34.78). But he fell to 10th when he no-heighted in the pole vault and finished with 6,460 points, making Williams the 10th-best performer in school history.
On the second of four days at the meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium, Baylor also got top-five finishes from pole vaulters Alencia Lentz (2nd, 13-9 ¼) and Parker Brannon (4th, 16-8 ¾), Jenna Flynn (4th, 132-4) and Ellie Fooshie (5th, 126-4) in the javelin and Amon Malekwen (5th, 1:50.71) in the 800 meters.
