GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Going toe-to-toe with some of the nation's elite sprinters, Baylor senior All-American Tiriah Kelley posted a time of 22.64 in her first 200 meters of the outdoor season on Friday at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.

Finishing third in her heat and sixth overall, Kelley recorded her fourth top-10 time in program history and a time that ranks in the top 10 in the country this season. Yahnari Lyons of Howard College was the overall winner in 22.34, while Baylor freshman Success Oyibu was 16^th overall with a career-best time of 22.98.

Baylor also recorded a pair of runner-up finishes, with Sebastian Berntsen moving up four spots on his final attempt in the long jump with a Baylor PR of 24-8 ¼; and sophomore Parker Brannon recording a career best vault of 16-10 ¾.

Coming off a school record a week earlier at the Baylor Invitational, Serafima Lucero was 20^th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.07 that ranks as her second-best all time. Sophomore Janae De Gannes was ninth in the women's long jump invite at 20-3 ¾, a competition won by former Baylor All-American and NCAA champion Alexis Brown at 23-2 ½.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., Ruth Kimeli finished fourth in the 10,000 meters late Thursday night with a PR time of 32:27.43 that ranks as the No. 3 time in school history.

On Friday, Rickeisha Simms recorded an 800-meter PR time of 2:10.74, while Amon Malakwen had a season PR and his second-best all time at 1:48.89 in the 800-meter elite division.
