GAME NOTES
QUOTABLE
Grace Carroll on her impact:
"I really owe it to my outsides. Bailey and Ksenia were both putting balls away really consistently and really heavily, so it kind of caused their middle to shift out toward them and gave me a little bit more of an open net. I was just hitting the ball, doing my job, but the outsides really contributed to that, and same with Bella, just her distribution of things."
Morgan Madison on facing Kansas again:
"Excited to already get to face them again. They're a great team, and getting to play in that environment and against a great team like that, that's something that we want to rise to the occasion and just come out stronger and really take it because we know we can beat a team like that."
Head coach Ryan McGuyre on the team's defensive effort:
"I thought we made some great digs where they hit it really hard. We had some exceptional plays on it. So we did a good job keeping the ball off the floor in that part of it. There were a lot of outstanding, exceptional, like, highlight-type digs in the first set, which helped us pull away. Definitely made a difference in that."
