No. 14 VB to Face Kansas State in Little Apple

Bears have won the last eight matches against the Wildcats
WACO, Texas – No. 14-ranked Baylor volleyball heads to Manhattan to face Kansas State on Saturday, with first serve set for 1 p.m. CT in Bramlage Coliseum.
The Bears (16-4, 5-2 Big 12 Conference) have won eight-straight matches against K-State (12-8, 3-4).
BU is coming off a 3-1 win over Texas Tech on Wednesday. In the match, freshman setter Averi Carlson had her second-straight double-double with 48 assists and 12 digs. Lauren Harrison led in kills, while Mallory Talbert and Elise McGhee joined her with double-digit kills. Also with double-digit digs were Lauren Briseño and Sophia Keene. On the defensive side, Kara McGhee and Allie Sczech each had five blocks to lead the team.
The last meeting between Baylor and KSU was also in Manhattan, in 2021, with the Bears winning back-to-back matches in 3-0 sweeps.
The Wildcats are coming off a five-set reverse sweep on the road against Oklahoma. Prior to that, KSU fell 3-2 to TCU on their home court in Manhattan. Kansas State is 5-2 at home this season thus far in Bramlage Coliseum.
KSU's Shaylee Myers is leading the team in kills in conference play with 53, at 3.32 kills per set. On the defensive end, Sydney Bolding has 92 blocks so far in Big 12 play.
