Jennifer Wandt records career win No. 49 tying her for first all-time at Baylor

STILLWATER, Oklahoma – The battle between the Bears and the Cowgirls turned out to be just that, a physical match between the two teams. Baylor was able to record a goal in each half to outlast Oklahoma State and pick up a win, 2-1, to begin conference play.
To begin the first half, Ally Henderson-Ashkinos and Maddie Algya were both able to get shots off with Algy's being saved by the Oklahoma State goalkeeper. In the 29th minute, The Bears were able to find the back of the net as Taylor Moon scored on a shot from a distance with an assist from Mackenzie Anthony. The bears accounted for two more shots on goal in the first half that were saved by the Cowgirls goalkeeper.
In the second half that was riddled with yellow cards from both teams got started with a goal from Oklahoma State in the 64th minute. Baylor answered quickly with a goal of their own taking the lead back from the Cowgirls. Olivia Mack recorded her first goal of the season after a perfect pass from Jennifer Wandt at midfield was then headed by Lorelai Stramrood to set up the perfect opportunity for Mack's goal in the 72nd minute.
Baylor finished the game with six out of 10 shots on goal. Goalkeeper Wandt recorded four saves picking up her 49thcareer win as goalkeeper. She is now tied for first all-time at Baylor in career wins.
