
SOC Drops Midweek Match vs. Texas

THE RUNDOWN
WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer dropped a 4-0 match to Texas Wednesday night at Betty Lou Mays Field. The contest, despite going against a Big 12 foe, did not count as a conference match.
The Lady Bears started out aggressive with back-to-back shots in the first six minutes of action. Texas, however, found the scoreboard in the 15th minute to take the lead. The Longhorns would go on to score two more times in the first half before adding another in the second.
Baylor and Texas finished the contest with 17 shots a piece. The Bears had a 12-9 advantage in shots on goal.
Kayley Ables continued to impress as she shut down her side of the field for Texas. Multiple times she stifled the Longhorn forwards who tried to make something happen down the right side of the pitch.
