TOP QUOTES
"I think 90% of that game is exactly who we needed to be. That's a tough team to break down and we got two quality goals against a good defensive team that makes it difficult to play, so I'll take that all day long. We had a little bit of a lull before the red card and coming out of the red card. We have to have better moments like that, where we step up instead of feeling like we were wrong. It was the right call, they weren't wrong, it was the right call. We have to step up in moments like that and I said if we can win a game like that and have a learning moment, that is basically two victories." – Baylor head coach Paul Jobson
"Our back line is learning how to play together really well and we're meshing together. Even with Dani out next game, we have Sarah Norman ready to step in and they've both been practicing together there all year. I think we're meshing really well and each game we're getting better and fixing our mistakes." – Baylor goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt
"That's definitely something that as Baylor, that's who we are – set pieces, corner kicks, things of that nature. That's an opportunity to score, so we work on that, making sure that we take full advantage of those. Specifically, with the corners, we work on that stuff every day. We run plays, we practice kicks, making sure that we're all on the same page. Because we know that if you get that opportunity and you can put that away, as good as we are at those things, those are good opportunities to get those goals in." – Baylor forward Jackie Crowther
