BAYLOR POSTGAME QUOTES

BU Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On Juicy Landrum's performanceÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"She has just stepped right in with [Natalie Chou's] wrist injury and it's important that Juicy just understands - shoot It. No one's going to tell you not to shoot it and she started out and hit that big three. We should have gone right back to her and we ended up going to Dekeiya [Cohen], but when a shooter makes one, find them. She is just playing with a lot of confidence right now."

On Baylor's ball movementÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"Well, I think it was mostly three kids that had a great assist-to-turnover ratio, Juicy, Kristy [Wallace], and [Alexis] Morris. If you have three guards that are scoring the ball and also having that many assists then you are going to be hard to guard."

On getting rest prior to this game after playing four games in a short spanÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"Well, anytime you can rest their legs, you do so, but you can't rest their minds. You have to keep them in the film room, you have to show them things. I think after the five days that we have had, we got to work on us. We just got to work on us a little bit, and we spent a whole day on the floor after watching film on TCU, but really hardly mentioning TCU, and yet at the same time we presented the scout report. It was just getting back on the floor for a good hour and a half and doing some stuff."

Junior Kalani Brown
On TCU's physicality and embracing the challengeÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"We expected that, and TCU has always been a physical team. They're a great team and they had a lot of post players that they threw at us that some could shoot the three, and they had different skill sets. But it was something that we had worked on all week we expected it."

Sophomore Juicy Landrum
On her confidence levelÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"I feel pretty confident. I wasn't as confident about my defense as I was earlier in the season, but then I started coming to the gym for extra work with the coaches and working on my defense, and so I really pride myself on my defense."

TCU POSTGAME QUOTES

TCU Head Coach Raegan Pebley
Opening StatementÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"We had some good things out of our team tonight, but we are not satisfied and take no moral victories. I don't care about who we are playing against, or where we are playing. We are always going to look at more than the end results and more on the process. Not all good and not all bad. I think some things that needed to be better from our team tonight was our transition defense, and allowing [Kristy] Wallace to collapse it quickly. That seemed to always put us in crisis mode. I think we have to go out and defend Juicy [Landrum] a little bit tighter and with more alertness. I think we embraced the challenge of being physical in the paint, considering our starting post player with only 13 minutes and our leading scorer with only 16 minutes. I was proud of the grit we showed under that challenge."

On returning home and getting back on trackÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"It's part of playing in the Big 12. Every game is a challenge. I think the same conversation that is happening on the men's side needs to be happening on the women's side. There is so much parity in our conference. We should be a league where there are more than four teams in legitimate contention. That's the challenge in this conference and we are excited to be back home for a few games after this stretch of road games."

On the match up problem against BU's Lauren Cox and Kalani BrownÃÆ'Æ'à € ' ¢ÃƒÆ'Æ' ¢' ¬ ¦
"They are a tough matchup and a great duo. But each rely on one another and help each other. [Lauren] Cox is so good at the high post, and Wallace is so good at breaking down the defense. I think that it is naÃÆ'Æ'à € 'ÃÆ'â ‚¬  ' ¯ve to think that this team is only about those two plays. Juicy can also stretch the floor which makes it harder to collapse on their players down low."
