April 25, 2017 WACO, Texas ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Baylor soccer will have three summer camp options for youth players to continue to improve their soccer skills under the guidance of the BU coaches and players at the Bears' Betty Lou Mays Field.
The Little Bears Summer Day Camp is from June 13-15 and for kids ages 3-9. The three-day camp will incorporate fun lessons on how to dribble, pass, shoot, and improve overall understanding of soccer while incorporating character lessons from the Bible.
The Next Level Training Camp is from July 10-14 for kids ages 9-13. The camp is for the young, but experienced, player looking for exceptional skill work and specific conditioning for soccer.
The Girls Overnight Camp Advanced Developmental Academy is from July 18-22 for girls ages 9-18. The Advanced Academy/College Prospect Camp is designed specifically for girls between the ages of 13 and 18 who wish to gain an edge in their development toward collegiate play and a chance to train in a "NCAA Division I-like" college soccer environment. Additionally, players will be trained by the current Baylor Soccer Staff, as well as college and professional coaches from around the country. The Developmental Academy is designed specifically for girls between the ages of nine and 12. In a challenging and fun environment, players will receive quality and individualized instruction from collegiate, club and high school level coaches. Additionally, players will receive hands on training from collegiate players. Skill training, individual tactics, circuit training along with competitive matches highlight each day at camp. The Goalkeeper Academy is designed for goalkeepers who want to get to the next level. The special curriculum is designed to overhaul the psychological, tactical, technical and overall fitness side of the game.
