Montoya Leads Quintet At Stanford Invitational

THE RUNDOWN
STANFORD, Calif. - Baylor track and field senior Maggie Montoya highlighted a group of five runners competing at the Stanford Invitational Friday at Cobb Track.

Montoya produced the third-best 5,000-meter time in school history of 15:55.62 to finish 11th in section one of the event.

Meanwhile, three others runners in section three of the 5,000 meters, finished in successive order from 14-16 - Anna West (16:22.52), Lindsey Bradley (16:29.69) and Peyton Thomas (16:31.68).

Earlier in the day in the 1,500 meters, Gabby Satterlee raced to a seventh-place finish in 4:28.60.

WHAT'S NEXT
Baylor athletes will return to the Texas Relays on Saturday with field events beginning at noon and running events starting at 10:40 a.m.
