Opening Statement...
I know with our team, we have really good leadership and good veterans and if you get down on the road and don't have that, you're probably not coming back. Even though we didn't execute as well as we like, Ole Miss deserves a lot of credit for making us turn it over as much as we did. I thought they had a great game plan, the crowd was tremendous and I was really proud of us keeping our poise and in the second half finding a way to get it done.
On second half three-point shooting...
In the first half, they did a great job putting pressure on us and we turned it over and once we did they got in transition. Second half after the locker room we settled down and changed how we were going to do it schematically and I was proud of how the guys executed and when you make a couple shots it gives you energy and life. Like hitting a 25-foot putt, it just changes things.
On Sebastian Saiz...
We started to double him and make it tougher for him to get the ball. On film, I don't think it does him justice. Watching him in person, he's even better than on film and coming into the game we had a lot of respect for him. He is a heck of the player.

On Breein Tyree's performance...
"What's so crazy is we had one turnover at the half. You've seen all our games and that's been problematic for us as Tyree has developed into more of a primary ball handler which has solved some of our issues, plus he hit four big ones down the stretch. What a great game for him against his matchup. As a coach, you can say that winning one-on-ones is not a lot of basketball terminology but we use it a lot, and you star saying that we 'really need to win this matchup' and Breein was going against an all-league type older guy, and I thought he did a great job for us. Just keeping us in it, after TD gets in some foul trouble we never really established a rhythm in the game. Deandre has struggled, and you know Bree kept us around."
On the turnovers down the stretch...
We had some missed assignments down the stretch, catch a ball out of bounds and you have to give Baylor credit. They were out of sorts and their best player gets in foul trouble early. However, as a top-five team does, they go to their bench and get production out of guys who have produced to a high level throughout the course of a year. Our 1-3-1 bothered them early and it didn't bother them late, which forced us to go to man-to-man late, which caused us to get in foul trouble, when Sebas picked up his fourth foul with about nine to play, we really had to sell out to the 2-3 zone which gave us problems. This is the second game in a row at home where we get destroyed on the glass. You're not going to win against a good team when you're down 16 on the glass. You're not going to beat the second-ranked team in the country in that regard especially when they shoot 54% and you shoot 33% in the second half.
