MISCELLANEOU ­S NOTES
- Baylor and SMU met for the 82nd time. Baylor is now 39-36-7 in the all-time series, including 13 straight wins in the series a 20-18-3 record in Waco.
- Baylor won its 17th consecutive regular-season non-conference game.
- Baylor is 12-2 all-time at McLane Stadium, averaging 50.9 points per game, 27.1 ppg scoring margin and 613.8 yards per game.
- Baylor improved to 31-3 in home games since 2011, the nation's best home record in that span.
- Baylor improved to 10-0 in September games since 2013 -- the Bears' last September loss was on Sept. 29, 2012 at West Virginia (70-63).

- Baylor intercepted 3 passes in a game for the first time since a 41-38 win at TCU on Nov. 30, 2013 -- a span of 30 games.
- Baylor was held scoreless in the 1st quarter for just the 2nd time in its last 31 games -- the only other time in that span was Dec. 5, 2015 vs. Texas.
- Baylor had a 19-play drive in the 2nd quarter that tied its most plays in a single drive since a 21-play TD drive at Oklahoma State on Oct. 29, 2011. BU also had 19-play drives at Oklahoma on Nov. 10, 2012 and vs. Oklahoma State on Nov. 22, 2014.
- Baylor's 19-play drive was its most plays in a drive that ended without points since a 20-play scoreless drive on Oct. 30, 2004, a 35-34 OT win vs. Texas A&M.
- Baylor's defense has forced multiple turnovers in 43 of its last 67 games (37-6 record).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- WR KD Cannon (93 receiving yards) became the 9th player in program history to reach 2,000 career receiving yards (2,037).
- Cannon had a 32-yard TD reception for his 16th career receiving touchdown, giving him sole possession of 9th on Baylor's all-time list.
- Cannon had a career-high 10 receptions, giving him 123 career receptions, which moved him into 14th on Baylor's career receptions list, passing David Gettis (116) and Brandon Whitaker (120).
- Cannon's 10 receptions gave him the 33rd double-digit receptions game in program history and tied the 19th-most receptions in a game in Baylor history.
- QB Seth Russell improved to 10-0 in his career as a starter. In his 10 career starts, Russell has thrown 40 TD passes (4.0 TD passes/game) and only 8 interceptions.
- Russell ran for a 19-yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter for his 13th career rushing touchdown and had 2 TD passes to give him 46 career passing touchdowns.
- Russell (261 passing yards) moved into 15th on Baylor's career passing yardage list with 3,759, passing Tom Muecke (3,688).
- NB Patrick Levels had a career-high 12 tackles and two forced fumbles. His previous career high for tackles in a game was 5 in the season-opener vs. NSU.
- RB Shock Linwood had 59 rushing yards, moving within 48 yards (3,618) of breaking Walter Abercrombie's school record of 3,665 career rushing yards.
- WR Blake Lynch caught a 31-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter for his 2nd touchdown in as many games played.
- RB Terence Williams tied a career high with 19 carries, rushing for a team-high 81 yards.
- RB JaMycal Hasty scored his 1st career TD on a 4-yard rush in the 4th quarter. He tied a career high with 7 carries.
- S Orion Stewart intercepted a career-high-tying two passes, including one that was returned 33 yards for a touchdown, giving him 8 career interceptions and 2 career INT return TDs.
- Stewart's 33 interception return yards brought his career interception return yardage total to 207, moving him from 7th to 4th on Baylor's career interception return yardage list. He passed Adrian Robinson (177), Derrick Cash (189) and Thomas Everett (194).
- S Davion Hall intercepted a pass in the end zone in the 3rd quarter for his career-first interception.
- Hall had a career-high 8 tackles and 7 solo.
- DT Ira Lewis had a career-high 6 tackles.
- PK Chris Callahan made field goals from 35 and 38 yards to reach 30 career field goals made, passing Jarvis Van Dyke for 6th on Baylor's all-time list.
- WRs Denzel Mims and Pooh Stricklin made their career-first starts.
