Entry No. 4 From Junior Marissa Sullivan -- At approximately 8:00 a.m our alarm clocks sounded and we got up for our last breakfast in Schreischeim. After a delicious breakfast, we all packed up and loaded our things onto the bus. Our stay in Schreischeim was beyond incredible and we left with many memories, but we were on our way to another beautiful city; Salzburg.

We knew the bus ride was going to be long, but we intended to make the most of it. After we all settled in for the first hour or so, we began to play catch phrase (a favorite among the team). We continued to do this for a couple hours or so and along with it came a lot of noise and laughter; it was very fun.

Following catch phrase, it was announced that we were going to stop at a rest stop to go to the restroom and stretch our legs. We all got out of the bus, and headed into the building to get something to eat or drink. In Germany you have to pay to go to the restroom, but at this rest stop we payed and then got a voucher back once we payed that we could use toward anything in rest stop food area. I bought a Capri Sonne and it was perfect after a few hours on the bus.

After chilling for a bit and talking to each other, we went outside by the bus, to get our legs moving. Our strength coach Candice took us through a little work out and then we headed back onto the bus. We continued on our journey for a while until we reached another little pit stop: the city Augsburg. We had about 45 minutes to get some food and enjoy the city. It was a very lovely city and although we didn't have all the time in the world, the buildings were very pretty. We ate at a little place that sold salads, sandwiches and smoothies. It was delicious. I love all the quaint restaurants that are so unique to each city.

Once we completed our time there, back on the bus we went! For the next few hours we talked with each other, played more catch phrase and admired the beautiful scenery. As we got closer to Austria, the more we could see the mountains, which were spectacular. We talked about what it would be like to climb up them, then realized we probably wouldn't be able to make it up because they were so huge.

Mary, our full-time tour guide, gave us a little surprise on the way and played The Sound of Music on the TV, since it took place in Salzburg. Although I am ashamed to say I've never seen the movie before, everyone else was singing along and they really enjoyed it.

Finally, after a few mouth hours on the bus, Mary had told us we had made it! We all were so excited to be able to settle down in our hotel rooms and eat some dinner. We got our room assignments, and unloaded our luggage off the bus and into our rooms quickly so we could walk over to dinner.

The walk over was good to get a little feel of the city and feeling the fresh air after a long bus ride felt great. We all were excited. We ate dinner at a cute little place that served us schnitzel and potatoes. I have had schnitzel before, but most of the girls who hadn't loved it and I agreed that it was delicious.

Following dinner, Mary told us we had the freedom to explore town on our own after we did a few things with Candice. We wanted to get our legs moving again after a long bus ride, so we did push-ups, squats, pull ups, lunges, and a few other things.

After finishing our workout with Candice we had free time to roam the city in groups. Our group walked down to the old city and by the river. It was beautiful. There were so many stores and people. There was a bridge over the river that had locks along the whole bridge and if you stood on the bridge and looked up to the right you could see the castle in the distance... Which was amazing.

After exploring for a while, we headed back to the hotel and settled down for the night. Super excited to see the city more tomorrow! Although the journey was long, it was a one we won't forget.
