Complete NCEA All-American List

WACO, Texas - Baylor equestrian matched a single-season program record, securing eight selections to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) All-American Teams.

Savannah Jenkins and Alicia Gasser earned first team selections in equitation on the flat, while Rachel Van Allen earned a second team nod.

For Gasser, the first team selection is the third of her career, earning honorable mention the last two years. Jenkins earns her second All-American award in the flat, having previously been selected in the 2013-14 season.

For equitation over fences, Savannah Jenkins double-dipped for a second-team selection, earning All-American honors in both Hunter Seat events.

With two flat selections and her first career fences nod, Jenkins brings her career All-American haul up to three.

Paige Parker also earned honorable mention in fences, giving Baylor five selections in the Hunt Seat half of competition.

Parker earns her second All-American award, after earning a first team selection in the 2013-14 season.

In Western, Mary Brown and Charlotte Green both earned second-team honors in Horsemanship, while Ginger Chant picked up honorable mention recognition in reining. The All-American awards were career firsts for all three Western riders.

The top-four riders per discipline were selected and named First-Team All-America by the NCEA Selection Committee. The next four riders per discipline were named Second-Team All-America, while Honorable Mention All-Americans were selected via the established criteria below.

Must have a 67 percent or higher winning percentage, excluding ties
Compete in a minimum of five competitions in the NCEA format
Have at least an adjusted NRS score of:
85 for flat
90 for fences
77 for reining
80 for horsemanship

The 2016 NCEA National Championship presented by City of Waco & McLennan County will take place April 14-16 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. It marks the 10th consecutive year that the City of Waco & McLennan Country have hosted the national championship.
