MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
- Today marked the 10th series meeting. BU leads 7-3 in the all-time series, including a 2-2 mark in Waco.
- Baylor started Rico Gathers, Lester Medford, Taurean Prince, Ishmail Wainright and Al Freeman for the 25th time in 31 games this season -- the group is 17-8 as a starting unit.
- Baylor is 57-23 in its last 80 games dating back to Feb. 12, 2014. Sixteen of the 23 losses have been away from home and 16 of the losses were against ranked teams.
- Baylor is 83-71 in Big 12 play since 2008 after going 45-131 in the league's first 11 years.
- Baylor's five seniors, Rico Gathers, , John Heard, Lester Medford, Austin Mills and Taurean Prince, where recognized prior to the game as part of Senior Day. BU has gone 94-46 during the past four years.
- Baylor's 10-wins in conference play are the fourth-most in program history in the league's 20-year history.

TEAM NOTES
- West Virginia started the second half on a 17-4 run to take a 47-31 lead with 11:56 remaining in the game.
- Baylor went 5-for-5 from behind the 3-point arc to power a 15-6 run that pulled BU within 53-46 with 6:57 left.
- Baylor outrebounded West Virginia, 34-32, to record its 23rd game this season of outrebounding its opponent (17-6 record).
- Baylor gave up 35 bench points, tied for its second highest total of the season.
- Baylor has made at least one three-point field goal in 797 consecutive games - the second-longest active streak in the Big 12 (Texas). The last time Baylor did not connect from three-point range was Feb. 21, 1990 vs. Texas Tech.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Taurean Prince (19 points and 10 rebounds) had his fifth double-double of the season and the eighth of his career.
- Prince (19 points) has scored in double-figures in 14 straight games and 43 of the last 49 games. It was his 26th game of 10+ points this season and the 65th of his career.
- Prince (10 rebounds) recorded a double-figure rebounding total for the fifth time this season and the ninth-time in his career.
- Lester Medford (2 assists) moved into sole possession of eighth on Baylor's career assists list with 318, passing David Wesley (316).
- Ishmail Wainright (9 points, 5 rebounds) made 1-of-3 from 3-point range, making him 17-of-33 (52%) from downtown over the last 14 games. He was 5-of-20 on 3-point attempts over his first 2 seasons at Baylor.
