Opening Statement:
I thought West Virginia really shot the ball well. Got to credit them for executing on the offensive end. We didn't do as good as a job defensively as we have in the past. I was pleased with how we took care of the basketball, pleased how we rebounded but West Virginia did a good job not letting us score much and definitely not let us get a lot of transition buckets, we didn't get enough stops. On struggling at the start of the second half I think the ten turnovers, you can live with that, the ten assists is something in the past. We did a better job sharing against their pressure and we didn't do as good of a job as we needed to do.
On Attacking once you cross half court:
They forced us into bad shots. I thought we took some contested jumpers. I thought we could have gotten something better in the possession and we just did things that you normally don't do and that's why they are so successful.
On taking out Rico Gathers and Taurean Prince when down 19 points:
I was looking for some offense and defense. I think our bench really played well and did a great job getting us back in the game. I think our seniors were 8-37 in this game and you are not going to win many games. They were outstanding our last game we played and our bench didn't give us much, so we have to get everyone on the same page. We have to defend when we are not scoring well enough, but you are not going to win many games in the Big 12 going 8-37.
On West Virginia making shots they don't normally make:
Miles (Daxter) made shots, Phillips (Tarik) made that one, Adrian (Nathan) made that big three but they were 7-14 (from 3). I'm sure Coach Huggins would take it. I would take 50% from three.

On missed WVU three point attempts turning into two point makes:
Well, you have to against them. They get in your passing lanes and they're so long. Getting people open isn't hard, getting them the ball is hard. They just do such a good job of closing down passing lanes.
On if WVU has grown at all during the suspension of WVU forward Jonathan Holton:
I don't know. I think it has given Nate (Adrian) the opportunity to play and play with some confidence. I think he has been really good. I thought he was really good defensively for us, he got 9 rebounds for us and 11 points. That's a pretty good day.
On the influence that Baylor forward Rico Gathers had on WVU's game plan:
I think in all honesty, him and Devin (Williams) have been a standoff every year. The problem wasn't him, the problem was that we threw the ball to him. I don't think that was the issue.
On WVU's ability to generate offense when rebounding the ball:
We have got to get shots. I think the rebounding was probably close to being even. I know it won't show that in the final stats, but a lot of that was them in the closing seconds getting two and three cracks at it. We just have to get more shots, we didn't get more shots but we got to the foul line. Although, that's really misleading because they fouled us at the end to get us to the foul line. We had multiple guys making some big shots tonight.
On the importance of forcing Baylor out of their zone defense and if that was WVU's intention:
We were trying to run some clock. I don't think it would've made much difference. I think they got out of their zone and went to man so that we wouldn't run the clock. They wanted to put more pressure on us. Their zone is really good. Their personnel is really good for what they do, it's terrific.
