MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
- Baylor has now won 20+ games in 5 straight seasons and 8 of the last 9. The Bears have 11, 20-win seasons in program history.
- Saturday was the 247th all-time series meeting, the most-played rivalry in Baylor history. The Bears trail 85-162 in the series, including a 29-88 mark in Austin and a 10-20 record in the Scott Drew era.
- Baylor is 10-7 in 17 games against Texas since snapping a 24-game series losing streak in 2009.
- Baylor started Johnathan Motley, Lester Medford, Taurean Prince, Ishmail Wainright and Al Freeman for the 3rd time in 27 games this season -- the group is 3-0 as a starting unit.
- Baylor is 56-20 in its last 76 games dating back to Feb. 12, 2014. Fifteen of the 20 losses have been away from home and 13 of the losses were against ranked teams.

- Baylor's 14-point margin-of-victory was its first double-digit win at Texas since Feb. 26, 1983 (86-52).
- Baylor's .627 shooting percentage was the second-best in a Big 12 Conference game this season, trailing only Baylor's .633 vs. TCU.
- Baylor is 20-0 this season when leading at any point in the second half.
- Baylor improved to 5-2 in Big 12 road games, the 2nd-most Big 12 road wins in program history (6-3 in 2012).
- Baylor's 9-5 Big 12 record ties the best 14-game start in the conference's 20-year history (2010, 2012, 2016).
- Baylor had 26 points in the paint in the first half while holding Texas to 22 total points.
- Baylor's 18-point halftime lead was its largest in a Big 12 game since a 51-25 lead vs. TCU on Jan. 11, 2014. It was the Bears' largest halftime lead in a Big 12 road game since a 42-23 lead at Texas Tech on Jan. 8, 2013.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Johnathan Motley (24 points) had his 6th 20-point game of the season and recorded back-to-back 20-point games (27 vs. Iowa State) for the first time in his career.
- Motley had his 14th double-digit scoring game of the year, doubling his total from last season. BU is 18-4 when Motley scores 10+ points.
- Motley started 11-of-11 from the field, which would've tied the school record for most wins in a game without a miss, but he missed his 12th attempt with 1:16 remaining.
- Motley's .923 shooting percentage (12-of-13) was the 4th-best field goal percentage in program history (min. 10 attempts).
- Motley's shooting percentage was the 2nd-best by any Big 12 player this season and the best by any player in conference play.
- Lester Medford (13 points) scored in double-digits for the 15th time this season and 28th in his career. BU is 23-5 when Medford scores 10+ points.
- Taurean Prince (17 points) scored in double-digits for a 10th straight game, 22nd time this season and 61st time in his career.
- Prince had a season-high 4 steals.
- Ishmail Wainright had a game-high 4 assists, game-high 5 rebounds and recorded 3 steals -- his 2nd-most steals in 90 career games.
- Wainright had 5 assists and 0 turnovers, and he had 11 assists with 0 turnovers in Baylor's two wins this week.
