On challenges posed by Kansas State's rare offenseà ¢Ã¢' ¬ ¦

On how different Kansas State's offense isà ¢Ã¢' ¬ ¦
"It's definitely a run-first offense. It's going to be more power run, a lot of pulling guards. They run with their quarterbacks, they have three quarterbacks that they hand the ball to and trust with running the ball, so it's a lot different than most teams today."
On if the Kansas State style change is toughà ¢Ã¢' ¬ ¦

"That's the original defense, so it's actually going back to the old ways of how we used to do things. It gave the defensive line more opportunities, less double teams and stuff like that. We have a smaller front, so it leaves a little more one-on-ones with the D-line and lets them make plays in the backfield."

"You're always trying to get off the field. You're always trying to get three-and-outs. So third downs are always a big point for defenses no matter who you're playing, but this team, definitely, because you want to get the ball back to your offense as much as you can."
