IRVING, Texas - Baylor junior receiver Corey Coleman was recognized as the Big 12 Offensive Co-Player of the Week following his school-record performance in Saturday's 66-31 win over Lamar, the league announced Monday.

Coleman had six catches for 182 yards and a school-record four touchdowns grabs in the victory. His touchdown receptions covered 42, 21, 61 and 34 yards. Coleman now leads the country in receiving yards (180 ypg) and touchdown catches (5).

The junior posted his sixth-career 100-yard receiving game, which is the ninth-most in program history. His 182 receiving yards tied for the 12th-most in a game in BU history and were the second-highest in his career (224 yards at Oklahoma in 2014).

Coleman now has 18 career TD receptions for seventh on Baylor's all-time list and he became the eighth Bears receiver to eclipse 2,000 career receiving yards (2,006). He also took over the school record for average receiving yards per game (80.24). Coleman leads the Big 12 in scoring with 15.0 points and is second in all-purpose yards with 182.5 per contest.

Coleman's new school record passed six different players that shared the previous record of three touchdown catches, including Lawrence Elkins, Melvin Bonner (twice), Reggie Newhouse, €ˆKendall €ˆWright, KD €ˆCannon and Jay Lee.

It is the second player of the week honor of Coleman's career, after also earning the accolade on Nov. 10, 2014. He is BU's first Big 12 weekly award winner of the 2015 season. Baylor has now at least one offensive honorees in 10 straight years.

Coleman shares this week's honor with Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes.

In total, Baylor has had 11 different offensive players honored a combined 18 times since 2002, including 12 honorees in the last five years.

The fifth-ranked Bears (2-0) will be off this weekend, before hosting Rice at McLane Stadium Sept. 26.
