IRVING, Texas â '¬" For the third straight year, Baylor soccer senior forward Bri Campos was named to the 11-person 2015 Preseason All-Big 12 Team, the league announced Thursday.

Voted on by the league's coaches, the preseason honor is BU's 10th in program history and Campos is just the second to earn it three times in a career (Tamura Crawley, 2000-2002) since the accolade was established by the Big 12 in 2000.

The Centennial, Colorado, native ended each of the previous two seasons on the postseason All-Big 12 Team (first team in 2013 and second team in 2014). Starting all 20 matches in 2014, Campos tied a career high with a team-leading six goals while adding two assists for a team-high 14 points. She enters her final season with the Bears ranked tied for 10th in program history with 40 points.

After topping Samford 1-0 in Monday's exhibition match, Baylor hosts Abilene Christian at 6 p.m. CT Saturday for its final exhibition before opening the season Aug. 21 vs. USF at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field. Admission to Saturday's exhibition match is free. Along with 16 newcomers, the Bears return 15 players from the 2014 team that went 9-8-3 (2-5-1 Big 12) for its sixth straight season with eight or more wins under head coach Paul Jobson.
