No. 1 Oklahoma defeated No. 16 UCLA, 4-3, to advance to Saturday's quarterfinal matchup against No. 8 Georgia. OU won the doubles point and swept No. 4 and No. 5 singles to take a 3-0 lead. UCLA rallied with wins by Mackenzie McDonald at No. 1, Martin Redlicki at No. 3 and Dennis Mkrtchian at No. 2, and the match came down to No. 6 singles. Florin Bragusi won in three sets, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, over Joseph Di Giulio, giving the Sooners the victory.
#8 GEORGIA (24-4) def. #9 TEXAS (21-7), 4-1

No. 8 Georgia quickly claimed the double point, 8-4 and 8-3, and the Bulldogs won three singles matches in straight sets to claim a 4-1 victory over No. 9 Texas. Nathan Pasha won for UGA in No. 3 singles, and Austin Smith followed with a victory in No. 2 singles to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead. Texas' George Goldhoff got the Longhorns on the board with a No. 4 singles win, but Nick Wood sealed the victory for UGA with a 7-6 (8), 7-5 win over Nick Naumann at No. 5 singles. With the win, Georgia advances to face No. 1 Oklahoma in Saturday's quarterfinals.
#13 NORTH CAROLINA (24-10) def. #4 ILLINOIS (27-5), 4-3

No. 13 North Carolina pulled the biggest upset of the day by defeating No. 4 Illinois, 4-3, to advance to the quarterfinals. UNC claimed the doubles point with an 8-5 win at No. 1 and an 8-4 victory at No. 3. Illinois then rebounded to take a 3-2 lead after singles wins by Aleks Vukic at No. 5, Tim Kopinski at No. 3 and Aron Hiltzik at No. 4. North Carolina evened the match at 3-3 after Brayden Schnur defeated Farris Gosea, 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-2, at No. 1, and Ronnie Schneider gave the Tar Heels a dramatic victory by knocking off Jared Hiltzik, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3, at No. 2 singles. UNC advances to face No. 5 TCU on Saturday.

TCU and Wake Forest battled to a decisive tie-breaker in doubles, and after the Horned Frogs came out on top they carried that momentum into singles to claim a 4-0 victory. TCU's Guillermo Nunez and Hudson Blake won the decisive doubles match against Wake Forest's Keivon Tabrizi and Romain Bogaerts, 8-7 (6). Will Stein cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles, Nunez won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Facundo Lugones clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles. With the win, TCU advances to face No. 13 North Carolina in Saturday's quarterfinals.
#3 VIRGINIA (26-3) def. #17-32 COLUMBIA (16-6), 4-0

No. 3 Virginia cruised to a 4-0 victory over Columbia to advance to the quarterfinals. The Cavaliers claimed an 8-4 victory from Collin Altamirano and J.C. Aragone at No. 3 doubles and clinched the doubles point with an 8-3 win at No. 1 by Luca Corinteli and Ryan Shane. Shane rolled to a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles, Thai-Son Kwiatkowski claimed a 6-2, 7-6 (6) win at No. 4 singles, and Collin Altamirano's 7-6 (0), 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles finished off the sweep. With the win, UVA advances to face No. 6 Texas A&M in Saturday's quarterfinals.
#6 TEXAS A&M (24-4) def. #11 OHIO STATE (27-9), 4-3

No. 6 Texas A&M won the doubles point over No. 11 Ohio State in a tiebreaker, and that proved crucial after the teams split the six singles matches. Texas A&M's Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo claimed an 8-7 (5) victory over Hunter Callahan and Chris Diaz to clinch the doubles point. The Aggies got the first singles point with Shane Vinsant winning at No. 2, but Ohio State answered with Ralf Steinbach's victory at No. 6 to cut the deficit to 2-1. Efferding's win at No. 1 singles brought the Aggies within a point of winning the match, but Ohio State evened the score at 3-3 after wins at No. 5 singles by Kevin Metka and No. 4 singles by Callahan. Texas A&M's Arthur Rinderknech won the decisive match over Herkko Pollanen, 6-2, 6-7 (1), 6-4 to send A&M to Saturday's quarterfinals against No. 3 Virginia.

No. 7 USC swept No. 10 Duke, 4-0, to advance to the quarterfinals. The Trojans claimed an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles and an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles to take an early lead. USC then won the first set in all six singles matches by a combined score of 37-15. Yannick Hanfmann defeated Nicolas Alvarez 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, then Max de Vroome claimed a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles. Roberto Quiroz finished off the match by defeating Jason Tahir 6-1, 7-5 at No. 2 singles. With the win, USC advances to face No. 2 Baylor in Saturday's quarterfinals.
#2 BAYLOR (24-5) def. #17-32 SOUTH FLORIDA (21-7), 4-1

No. 2 Baylor battled to win the doubles point in a pair of tiebreakers over South Florida, and the Bears took advantage of the momentum to claim a 4-1 victory in the round of 16. USF's Roberto Cid and Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles, but Baylor came back to win the point by claiming and 8-7 (1) win by Julian Lezn and Diego Galeano at No. 1 and an 8-7 (4) win by Tony Lupieri and Mate Zsiga at No. 2. BU took a 2-0 lead when Galeano won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. USF tallied its only point with Oliver Premming's 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles, but Baylor's Felipe Rios won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 6 singles, and Lenz won 6-3, 7-5 at No. 1 singles to clinch the victory. BU advances to face No. 7 USC in Saturday's quarterfinals.
