THE RUNDOWN
DES MOINES, Iowa - Baylor's track and field teams combined for eight top-four finishes on the final day of action at the 106th-running of the Drake Relays Saturday at Drake Stadium.
Tiffani McReynolds continued her strong senior campaign in the 100-meter hurdles, picking up a second-place finish with a 12.98 run.
Baylor's 4x400-meter relay team of Richard Gary, Brandon Moore, Chris Platt and George Caddick placed second in 3:06.87.
Both the men and women's 1,600 sprint medley relay picked up podium spots, with the women grabbing a third-place finish and the men taking second.
The women's team of Tiffani McReynolds, Kehri Jones, Raena Rhone and Olicia Williams posted a 3:48.80 mark, while the men's group of Trayvon Bromell, Kevin Harris, George Caddick and Brandon Moore blazed through with a 3:19.35.
In the men's 110-meter hurdles, Bryce Grace finished fourth, improving his time from qualifying to 13.88.
In the triple-jump pit, Felix Obi jumped out to a second place finish with a mark of 52-0.75 [15.87m].
Rounding out the top-four finishers, Annie Rhodes cleared 13-3.5 feet in the pole vault, tying for fourth place.
WHAT'S NEXT
Baylor will again travel back to Austin, Texas, for its second meet in the state's capital. The Bears will compete in the Longhorn Invitational on Saturday, May 2.
