WACO, Texas - Three former Baylor track and field athletes and one current Bear had success over the weekend at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass.

Senior Tiffani McReynolds, who has exhausted her indoor collegiate eligibility, but will run for the Bears in the outdoor season, placed third in her signature event - the 60-meter hurdles. McReynolds had the second fastest qualifying time (8.09) to advance into final. In the final, McReynolds ran an 8.06 to take the bronze. In her indoor seasons at Baylor, McReynolds was a four-time All-American and a four-time Big 12 champion in the 60-meter hurdles.

A member of last year's team, Henry Vildosola, placed fifth in the heptathlon competition scoring 5,298 points. In his last season at BU, Vildosola advanced to the NCAA Championships in the decathlon, after recording All-Big 12 performances in both the heptathlon and decathlon.

The most decorated female athlete in Baylor history, Tiffany Townsend, produced a third-place showing in the 60-meter dash. After placing fourth in preliminary action with a time of 7.26, Townsend ran a 7.23 to be third in the final. At BU, Townsend was awarded 17 All-America honors and won two-Big 12 titles.

The school-record holder in the 800-meters, James Gilreath, tallied a sixth-place finish in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:24.26. In addition to setting a school-record, Gilreath was an All-American as a member of BU's 4x400-meter relay team in 2010.
