March 12, 2015 WACO, Texas - Baylor will travel a total of nine student-athletes to Fayetteville, Ark., for the 2015 NCAA?Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center. The Bears will have one athlete in two events on the men's side and nine entries in eight women's events.

STORYLINES
Baylor returns three athletes that competed in NCAA?Indoor Championships, including 2014 3,000-meter All-American Rachel Johnson. The women enter ranked No. 9, while the men are 18th.

After winning both the 3,000 and 5,000-meter races at the Big 12 Championships, Johnson will run both at nationals. The Big 12 Indoor Performer of the Year currently has owns the 11th-fastest 3,000-meter time (9:06.42) and the fourth-best 5,000-meter race (15:40.45).

On the men's side, sophomore sprinter Trayvon Bromell has a chance to become the first BU male athlete to tally All-American indoor honors in two individual events in the same year. Bromell currently holds the country's second-fastest 60-meter time (6.54) and the fourth-best 200-meter mark (20.69). He won the 200-meter race at the Big 12 Championships

Baylor's final returnee, triple jumper Brianna Richardson, won the Big 12 title in the event with a season-best jump of 42-11.75 [13.10m]. The junior's mark currently is ninth-best nationally.

Among the first-time NCAA?Indoor participants, Olicia Williams boasts the highest-ranking mark. The junior has the third-fastest 800-meter time with a school-record performance of 2:03.21.

The highlight of Baylor's season has been its women's middle distance crew, which has broken five school records. The Lady Bears took down a seven-year old school-record in the distance medley relay to log the nation's third-best (10:58.52).

The BU men have scored points at the NCAA?Indoor Championships every year since 1981, 34 straight years. The women have tallied points at the national indoor meet in four straight seasons and in 10 of the last 11 years.
