WBB Trio Earns All-Tourney Honors

In the recently completed Florida Sunshine Classic, three Baylor women's basketball players, Nina Davis, Alexis Jones and Niya Johnson, earned all-tournament honors.
Earning tournament MVP recognition, Davis, a junior forward and reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, averaged 22.0 points and 5.5 rebounds a game in Baylor's victories over No. 23 Miami and James Madison. She was 8-of-9 (.889) from the free throw line and shot .545 (18-33) from the floor.
Jones, a junior guard, managed 20.5 points and outing, dished out 5.0 assists a game while senior point guard Niya Johnson averaged 8.5 points, 9.5 assists and 5.5 rebound a contest.
