TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Baylor junior wide receiver Corey Coleman has been named one of three finalists for the 2015 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., announced Tuesday.

The Biletnikoff Award has been presented annually to the nation's outstanding college football receiver since 1994. Coleman is the second Baylor player to be named a Biletnikoff Award finalist, after Terrance Williams was recognized in 2012.

This season, Coleman leads the country in touchdown receptions (20) and is second in receiving yards per game (130.6). The junior's 20 TD grabs are currently ranked tied for third-most for a single season in Big 12 history and ninth-most in NCAA history.

Nationally, Coleman is second in scoring (12.0 ppg) and third in receiving yards (1,306). He ranks first in the FBS in catches of 20+ yards (23) and 30+ yards (20) and second in 40+ (11) and 60+ (3) yard catches.

The Richardson, Texas, native has re-written the BU record books, breaking Kendall Wright's school single season (14) and career (30) receiving TD records. Coleman now sits with 20 on the year and 33 for his career.

Coleman set a new Big 12 record by catching multiple TDs in seven consecutive games and has at least one TD catch in eight of 10 games this season. Earlier this month, Coleman recorded the eighth 1,000-yard receiving season in program history and became the first player in program history with multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons (had 1,119 in 2014).

The junior is the featured receiver in the nation's most prolific offense, which leads the country with 53.8 points per game and 644.1 total yards per game and is ninth in passing yards per game with 350.7. The other two finalists for the honor are TCU's Josh Doctson and Mississippi's Laquon Treadwell. The trio will attend ESPN's The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 10 in Atlanta where The Biletnikoff Award winner will be announced live.

Coleman and Doctson give the Big 12 Conference 18 players, who have been selected as one of the final three candidates for the award in its history. With Coleman and Doctson's selections, 15 of 27 Biletnikoff Award finalists since 2007 have been Big 12 Conference wide receivers. The junior became Baylor's fourth Biletnikoff semifinalist last week. The honor is named after Florida State's National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Famer Fred Biletnikoff.

Fans may now help determine which of the three finalists will be named the 2015 Biletnikoff Award winner by voting as often as once daily HERE. Fan voting for the winner opens Nov. 24 and runs through midnight on Dec. 6.
