PLANTATION, Fla. - For a second straight day, Baylor men's tennis junior Julian Lenz notched a three-set triumph at the USTA Men's $10K Plantation Community Tennis Open.
On Thursday, Lenz produced a 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 win over Aron Hiltzik of the United States at the Frank Veltri Tennis Center to reach the quarterfinals of the USTA Futures event. Hiltzik, now a freshman at Illinois, was the country's top-ranked player in the 2014 signing class
Lenz is now 7-1 in last eight professional event matches.

Lenz will now take on second-seeded Nicolas Barrientos of Columbia on Friday for a spot in the semifinal round. Barrientos is currently ranked No. 309 in the ATP World Rankings.
