The No. 6 Baylor equestrian team trails No. 8 TCU 6-3 after the Western competition wrapped up on Friday, Feb. 8 at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth.

TCU took a 3-2 lead in Horsemanship with Parris Rice taking home MVP honors after a discipline high 77.5. Mary Brown's 72 kept the Horned Frogs' lead at one.

TCU extended its lead in Reining with a 3-1 win, with Shelbey Jackson's 68.5 claiming a half-point victory.

The Bears and Horned Frogs will finish the match on Saturday at Turning Point Ranch beginning at 2 p.m. The two teams will compete in Hunter Seat with 10 total points (Flat-5, Fences-5) on the line.
