- The Bears are coming off its third sweep of the year and begin a season long nine-game road swing beginning with the Big Daddy's Invitational.
- Head coach Jim Barnes will be welcomed back for Alumni Weekend. A 1994 graduate of McNeese State and six-year assistant coach, Barnes is a native of nearby Sulphur, La.
- Baylor's .309 hitting percentage against Texas State on Sept. 4 was a season high.
- Senior Alyssa Dibbern ranks fifth in the Big 12 with a .368 hitting percentage and ninth with 3.26 kills/set. She recorded a career high 19 kills in BU's 3-1 win over Tulane on Aug. 25.
