WACO - The No. 6 Baylor equestrian team (8-4) will look to protect its home turf on Senior Day, hosting No. 7 Kansas State (5-4) on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
"We have had a good week of practice and are ready to get back after it," head coach Ellen White said. "We are riding for our seniors and owe them a good sendoff."
Baylor enters the match after dropping three of its last four. The Hunter Seat squad has lost just once this season and will look to wrap up its season with an undefeated home mark.
The Bears defeated the Wildcats 9-8 in Manhattan on Oct. 14, 2011.
K-State (5-4) is riding a three-match winning streak that dates back to November 19 where the Wildcats knocked off then-No. 4, Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla.
The match will open with Fences and Reining, followed by Senior Day ceremonies and wrapping with Flat and Horsemanship.
