• No. 13/14 Baylor (22-5, 9-5) travels south to the state capital to face long-time conference rival Texas (17-10, 7-7) and will attempt to sweep the Longhorns for the second time in the last three seasons. Monday's game will tip at 8:05 p.m. CST €ˆon ESPN and ESPN3.
• Monday is the 238th series meeting between Baylor and Texas, the most-played basketball rivalry for both schools. Texas leads the all-time series 157-80 and 85-27 for games played in Austin.
• Baylor is 13-4 in its last 17 games against its three in-state Big 12 opponents -- Texas A&M (5-1), Texas Tech (4-1) and Texas (4-2). Baylor is 4-0 against Texas Big 12 schools this season.

In Round Rock, Texas, just miles from the team's arrival in Austin, a speeding train from the I&GA Railroad Company rammed into the side of the bus at a railway crossing near the center of the city. Ten of the 21 players, coaches and fans in the Baylor party that traveled on the bus that day were killed (The Immortal Ten).
