- The Bears are receiving votes for the first time this season, receiving four votes in the Soccer Times poll.
- The Bears are off to their best start through 12 games since the 1996 team went 10-1-1.
- Baylor is currently ranked sixth in the NCAA Central Regional Rankings, while Texas Tech is eighth.
- Baylor trails the overall series with the Red Raiders, 11-4. The Bears knocked off TTU 1-0 in Waco last season with a goal from Christine Clark.

Second Half Goals
Baylor has been a second half team this season, scoring 16 of its 23 goals after halftime. Fifteen have come in the second half while one has come in overtime.
Use Your Head
Nine of the Bears' 23 goals have come via header, with freshman Alexa Wilde leading the way with three.
Set Pieces
The Bears have also scored nine goals off set pieces, seven off corners and two off free kicks.
Scoring Spread Out
New players seem to step up each game, as 11 different players have recorded a goal. In addition, 16 players have recorded at least a point for BU.
Seelhorst Leads League
Fifth-year senior, Courtney Seelhorst leads the Big 12 with seven solo shutouts this season and is second in program history with 15 in her career.
Jobson Turns Defense Around
Since head coach Marci Jobson took over as head coach in 2008, the Bears have had their best defensive seasons in program history. After setting the school record for fewest goals allowed in 2008 (23), Baylor reset it in 2009 (18) and again in 2010 (16). BU has allowed just seven in 12 games so far in 2011.
