The Baylor soccer team will travel for an exhibition game against Stephen F. Austin, Saturday, Aug. 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the SFA Soccer Complex in Nacogdoches, Texas. The game is free and open to the public.

"This is going to be a great chance for us to find out exactly where we are so far in preseason," head coach Marci Jobson said. "SFA is a very good team and this will give us the ability to see our strengths and weaknesses before opening regular season play."

The Bears, who were picked in a tie for seventh by league coaches in the Big 12 preseason soccer poll, return eight starters and 88 percent of their scoring from a team that finished 11-7-2 in 2010. SFA was picked first in the preseason Southland Conference poll.

Due to an agreement by the team's coaches, no recap or stats will be available following the game. Baylor will open regular season play at home on Friday, Aug. 19 against Sam Houston State at 7 p.m. at Betty Lou Mays Field.
