STORY LINES
• No. 6/7 Baylor (10-0) hopes to continue its hot start this week in Las Vegas for the final two games of the 2011 Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. Baylor and Saint Mary's will meet at 9:30 p.m. CST on Thursday in a rematch of the 2010 NCAA €ˆSouth Region semifinal (Baylor won 72-49 at Reliant Stadium in Houston).
• Future Big 12 Conference member West Virginia (8-2) awaits Baylor at 8 p.m. CST Friday on ESPN. Friday will be the first meeting between the schools.
• Baylor is 5-2 all-time in Las Vegas and is making its first trip since €ˆDecember 1982.
• Baylor is 12-7 in regular-season tournaments, including a 2007 Paradise Jam title, in the Scott Drew era.
• Baylor (10-0) is one of only six undefeated Division I teams remaining -- Indiana, Louisville, Missouri, Murray State and Syracuse are the others.

VEGAS HOMECOMING
Pierre Jackson returns to his hometown for this week's Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. Jackson, the 2011 NJCAA €ˆDivision I €ˆPlayer of the Year, leads the Big 12 in 3FG €ˆpercentage (60 percent) and ranks third in FT €ˆpercentage (90.3 percent), fifth in assists (4.60) and 10th in steals (1.50). Jackson ranks third on the team in scoring (11.5).
• Jackson is averaging 13.1 points on 66 percent shooting (29-of-44) and 4.3 assists in this last seven games (22.9 minutes off the bench). Jackson began his career by averaging 7.7 points on 39 percent shooting (7-of-18) and 5.3 assists in his first three games (24.7 minutes off the bench).
