WACO, Texas - With the addition of four FOX Sports Southwest telecast, the Baylor men's basketball team will play 26 regular-season contests on regional or national television during the 2011-12 season.
Baylor, which is ranked 12th in both the AP and USA TODAY/ESPN Preseason Top 25 polls, will host UT Arlington (Nov. 23, 7 p.m.), Prairie View A&M (Nov. 29, 7 p.m.) and Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 14, 7 p.m.) on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston. Baylor's Jan. 10 game at Kansas State will be broadcast by FOX Sports Kansas City and will air in Texas on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston.
For the third time in four seasons, Baylor's entire Big 12 Conference schedule will be televised. By season's end, 65 of Baylor's last 66 conference games will have been televised at the regional or national level.
12th-ranked Baylor opens the 2011-12 regular season Nov. 11 against Texas Southern (9 p.m.). Fans interested in purchasing season tickets may do so online, by calling 254-710-1000 or at the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office at the Ferrell Center.
