Head Coach Kim Mulkey

On Tennessee's improvement since the start of the season:
"They have improved a lot. The only thing that has not changed is that they are the same size as the last time we played them. They are big. They are big on the perimeter as well."

On Baylor's improvement since the start of the season:
"I think we are much improved. What set us back was the injury to Melissa (Jones) but the improvement of the players that replaced her on the floor is unbelievable. They are more confident now. You have to watch us play that first game against Tennessee and watch us play today to see signs of improvement. I was just watching the game (from earlier this season) against Tennessee and the way that we attacked the zone, we didn't know what we were doing. We have seen (the zone) tons of times now and how we attack the zone is so much better."

On the importance of winning the first two games in the tournament:
"You take experience away. You had a lot of people playing for the first time in the NCAA Tournament. Winning those two games allows them to get a little bit of a feel for what it is like. After watching (the Georgetown game) on tape, our defense, we are so much better defending the first dribble and first step. I think that had a lot to do on why Georgetown shot so poorly. The defensive end of the floor for us was very good."

Freshman Center Brittney Griner

On Tennessee:
"It feels like it was long ago but that game is still on my mind. I love that we get another shot at (Tennessee). I just feel like we have grown so much together as a team and that the chemistry on the team is good. We have everybody back now and we are playing good so I just feel like we will have a better outcome this game."

On gaining experience in the first and second rounds:
"I feel better now having two games under my belt. I do feel better going into this next game."

Senior Forward Morghan Medlock

On crashing the glass against Georgetown:
"I think (I do get into a rhythm.) I just have this thought in my head that I am going to go and get everything that comes off of the glass. The coaches got on me for not having any offensive rebounds when we played Fresno State and I think my first bucket (against Georgetown) came from an offensive rebound. Coach Barmore really got on me about that and I think that was my mindset for that game."

On the growth of the freshman class:
"I think it has been amazing. The best thing that I like is that the younger kids are growing and understanding. When a coach tells them something or they see something in the film room they try and transfer it over to the court. They are learning it and their attention span is now longer. You can tell when you watch them play that they know what they are doing and they know the personnel."

Junior Guard Melissa Jones

On Tennessee:
"We are clearly going to be outnumbered in terms of fan base but we still have a lot of fans going up to (Memphis) from our side as well. It is just going to be like any other game. We just want to get to a Final Four and a national championship game. This is going to be a tough game for us but we are excited about it."
