As part of the recently released Big 12 Conference television package, the Baylor Lady Bear basketball team will make eight regular-season appearances on national television during the 2009-10 season.
The Lady Bears will appear on ESPN2 a school-record four times which accounts for half of the Big 12's eight matchups on the network. In addition, Baylor will play on "Big Monday" for the first time in program history when it takes on the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station on Feb. 22.
The Lady Bears will appear on Fox Sports Network (FSN) four times this season, including a non-conference game when Baylor plays at California as part of the Pac-10 FSN package.

Jan. 31 - Baylor at Texas - 4 p.m.
Feb. 22 - Baylor at Texas A&M - 8 p.m.
Feb. 28 - Kansas at Baylor - 4 p.m.

Nov. 22 - Baylor at California - 4 p.m.
Jan. 17 - Nebraska at Baylor - 2:30 p.m.
Feb. 13 - Baylor at Iowa State - 11 a.m.
March 7 - Texas at Baylor - 2:30 p.m.

Baylor returns eight letterwinners, including upperclassmen guards Kelli Griffin and Melissa Jones and forward/post Morghan Medlock, off last season's 29-6 squad which won the Big 12 Tournament and reached the NCAA Sweet 16. In addition, the consensus No. 1 recruiting class reported to campus this summer, led by the nation's top prepster, 6-8 post Brittney Griner.
