Baylor's Lenka Broosova, Taylor Ormond and Jelena Stanivuk will begin play in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships on Wednesday, May 20, while Broosova and Csilla Borsanyi open doubles play on Thursday, May 21 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.

Broosova, ranked No. 33 in the latest Campbell's/ITA national rankings, will face seventh-seeded Hilary Barte of Stanford in first round action. Broosova defeated Barte 6-3, 6-2 in the second round of last year's NCAA Individual Championships. The winner would face Auburn's Alex Haney, ranked No. 28, or No. 23 Maria Sanchez of USC.

Ormond is currently ranked No. 39 in the nation and will face No. 31 Bianca Eichkorn of Miami in the first round. The winner would face the winner of the match between Georgia's Yvette Hyndman, ranked No. 55, and UCLA's Yasmin Schack, ranked No. 15. Earlier this season Schnack defeated Ormond 7-5, 6-3 in Baylor's 4-3 win over UCLA.

Stanivuk enters the tournament with a No. 44 ranking. She will square off against No. 36 Kristi Boxx of Mississippi in the first round of action. The winner will then play South Carolina's Ana Zubori, ranked No. 48, or second-seeded Julia Cohen of Miami.

The doubles team of Broosova and Borsanyi, ranked No. 13 in the nation, will face Ani Mijacika and Keri Wong of Clemson, seeded in the 5-8 range. The winner will face No. 50 Hilary Bartlett and Taylor Marable of Princeton or No. 16 Boxx and Karen Nijssen of Mississippi in the second round.
