Baylor junior post Danielle Wilson has elected to not return to the Lady Bear team for her senior season.

Wilson, a 6-3 native of Bay Shore, N.Y., suffered a season-ending knee injury on Feb. 28 and missed the last eight games of the year. For 2008-09 she averaged a team-leading 15.1 points and 9.6 rebounds which ranked No. 8 and No. 3 in the Big 12 Conference, respectively. In addition, Wilson ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 1 in the Big 12 Conference in blocked shots with 3.1 per game.

She was a first-team All-Big 12 selection, named to the league's All-Defensive team and received honorable mention All-America honors from both The Associated Press and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Wilson ended her three-year Baylor career ranked No. 1 in blocked shots with 249 and No. 25 in points scored with 1,015.
