The Baylor soccer team will host its second annual Play For Hope Clinic in correlation with a day of exhibition games Saturday, April 25 at Betty Lou Mays Field.
"This is a terrific event that helps a lot of people who are in need," head coach Marci Jobson said. "It's a great opportunity for people to come out and enjoy good soccer and donate to a great cause."
The Bears will take on Trinity at 10:00 a.m. and then face Lamar at 4:00 p.m. Following the final game, a one and a half hour clinic for any child ages 5-18 will be held that features current BU players, the Baylor coaching staff and Charmaine Hooper, formerly of the Canadian National Team.
During the clinic, a silent auction will be held for signed memorabilia from Carli Lloyd, the 2008 U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year and U.S. National Team member.
