WACO, Texas - The Baylor track and field team set regional qualifying times in all four relays and the Bears combined to win 13 events at the Dr Pepper Invitational on Saturday at the Hart-Patterson Track and Field Complex.
"We were really excited with how we performed today," said head coach Todd Harbour. "Coming off indoor nationals last week, we wanted to get some people some races that they needed, but we didn't want to overwork some of our athletes that ran in College Station. We had a beautiful day and a great crowd, so I think that we are pretty happy with our meet. We had some great performances and some regional marks, so it was a good opening meet."
